GECO Bomb Girls

GECO Bomb Girls Betty, Dorothy, Phyllis, Millie, and Gloria, with Barbara Dickson and Director Mike Palmer

In his directorial debut, Mike Palmer takes a fresh, innovative approach in capturing Betty, Dorothy, Phyllis, Millie, and Gloria’s war-time tales. With Ian Daffern as producer and Patrick Barfoot as editor, this tight-knit team offers a softer, more light-hearted story, a welcome respite from the heaviness that can accompany a traditional war-time documentary.

The 25-minute film has received an enthusiastic response from the public and garnered international acclaim when it was short-listed in the prestigious 2018 Imperial War Museum’s International Short Film Festival in London, England.
